Summer Celebration Brings Families Together at White Center Heights Elementary

Families from across South Seattle gathered for a joyful Summer Celebration at White Center Heights Elementary School, marking the end of a season filled with laughter, connection, and fun.
The event was a highlight of our Play and Learn programming, bringing together children, caregivers, and even older siblings who had previously participated in the program. Kids enjoyed soccer games on the school’s fields, thanks to a generous donation of 30+ soccer balls from the Seattle Reign. The White Center Library librarian also joined in, reading stories to the little ones and adding to the festive atmosphere.
With games, food, and plenty of smiles, the Summer Celebration was a perfect way to wrap up the quarter and strengthen the bonds within our community. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!
