ECONOMIC ORGANIZER – Youth Program Coordinator

The White Center Community Development Association (WCCDA) has an exciting opportunity available for an Economic Organizer – Youth Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for developing a well-supported opportunity for youth to grow in their academic and work life directions, providing in-depth career counseling and learning sessions, building a socioeconomically aware foundation shaped by and for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) 1st and 2nd generation immigrants and refugees with concerted attention to LGBTQIA+ communities. This position helps shape the community-led youth program’s development and implementation, cultivating a thoughtful career advancement support ecosystem.

About The Role:

The Economic Organizer – Youth Program Coordinator role operates within the Stop School to Prison Pipeline framework, an initiative supported by Best Start for Kids. This program is designed to help communities across King County build intentional and sustainable pathways to success for youth and young adults ages 12 to 24.

Within this role, the Youth Program Coordinator will lead and manage youth programming focused on employment, entrepreneurship, and education, directly supporting opportunities for youth and young adults in White Center and neighboring communities. This work aims to challenge systemic barriers by offering youth-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed services.
