A Joyful Celebration of Eid Al-Adha in White Center

On Friday, May 29th, 2026, the White Center HUB at Savusa Hall came alive with laughter, warmth, and the spirit of community during our Eid Al-Adha celebration. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we were honored to host 190 attendees, a heartwarming turnout that reflected the vibrant energy of our Somali community and beyond.

This Eid gathering was more than just an event, it was the culmination of months of dedication and connection. Our Somali Coordinator, Fartun, and Childcare Resource Connector, Nasro, played a pivotal role in engaging families through our programs like Somali Play and Learn, one-on-one support, and outreach at local Play and Learns and networking events. Their efforts ensured that this celebration was not only well-attended but also deeply meaningful for everyone who joined us.
