LOUD N PROUD RECAP!

This year the WCCDA held its second annual PRIDE event on June 12th, 2022from 4 - 7:00pm at the Greenbridge Plaza titled “Loud N Proud!” Celebrating people as they are with entertainment and unity with the White Center community. Considering everything going on in today’s society, we took it upon ourselves to focus on a big theme: Mental Health. With that being said, we wanted to create a space for theLGBTQ+ community to truly feel like they belong in White Center by highlighting local queer and trans entertainers, vendors, and resources!

Event Highlights

STARTING WITH OUR PERFORMERS:

• We also had our amazing food vendor “Carver Kitchen ''serving burgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks!➢DJ Pheloneous was spinnin’ the hits!

• Our LGBTQ+ division started selling “Loud N Proud” merch for the first time!

• We had over 70+ attendees (doubling our attendance from last year)!!!

• Our small queer and trans business vendors made hundreds of dollars(combined)!
