In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan passed and ushered in a historic one-year expansion of the Child Tax Credit (CTC) that has the power to significantly reduce child poverty, build racial equity, and create a public investment for the good of all children.

The Youth Organizer will be part of a team to manage youth skill building, leadership development, and execution of creative, joyful tactics to build the movement for health equity in South Seattle and South King County.

Grants for Small Businesses​

King County has help for small businesses in unincorporated King County.

Businesses can apply now for grants of up to $25,000 to help them recover from the effects of COVID-19. These funds can be used to reimburse your business for rent, employee payroll, goods, services, and other COVID-19-related expenses.

To be eligible, a business must:

  • Be active and licensed in the state of Washington with a physical business address in unincorporated King County

  • Have 30 or fewer full-time employees

  • Have gross revenues of $3 million or less per year
