BEING A MEMBER OF THE CDA HAS MANY BENEFITS!
Workshops and Trainings: Leadership, Facilitation, Youth involvement, Media, etc., provided through our community partners (topics vary).Discount on tickets to White Center CDA’s annual fundraiser
Free membership merchandise (inaugural members receive a t-shirt, water bottle and folder)
Opportunity to use a computer in our office to look for employment, volunteer opportunities, trainings, or to assist the CDA in various events (members must make an appointment for computer use)
Opportunity to nominate/vote for 3 members to serve on the White Center CDA Board, and to be a board member yourself! (Dec. 2011)
Opportunity to give input about the White Center CDA’s various programs
Participate in members-only focus groups and membership mixers

LEVELS OF MEMBERSHIP
All memberships are Lifetime Memberships – that means no annual fees!CDA Membership ($25) – Inaugural members receive a t-shirt, White Center CDA water bottle, membership folder, discount coupons to participating White Center business (businesses TBA)
Organizational Membership ($25) - Community and/or non-profit organizations can be a partner member and provide membership with trainings/workshops and/or discounts to services/events.
Youth/Student Membership (Free after 3 hours of service) – Same benefits as above after volunteering a minimum of 3 hours at a CDA Signature event and/or a CDA endorsed event for those 13-19 years of age. The hours can be spread over a certain number of events. The CDA Signature events include: White Center Spring Clean, CDA Annual Fundraiser and White Center Community Summit.
Senior Memberships (Free after 2 hours of service) – Must be 55 years of age or older.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Complete the membership registration form (available at our office and at our events). Pay in cash or credit card. Make checks out to White Center CDA.
