WCCDA is seeking a Community Organizer who will lead our community building mobilization efforts within the White Center Community. This person will work collaboratively with residents, community partners and staff and will combine practical experience in community anti-racist organizing. This position must have experience working within marginalized BIPOC communities and a commitment to the mission of the WCCDA.
This position will identify and coordinate organizing strategies that will promote policy development, leading to transformational systems change. The individual should be highly organized, resourceful, analytical, self-reflective and self-aware, and open to growth and learning. The Community Organizer will be committed to working with people from diverse cultural, linguistic, economic, educational, and vocational backgrounds.
The Community Organizer is a full-time position responsible for the success of Community Building strategies that supports resident leadership, community training opportunities, workgroups, community relations, and relevant data/evaluation efforts.
