Congratulations to CDA executive director Aileen Balahadia and CDA community building director Virgil Domaoan for receiving awards last night at the Filipino Community Center in south Seattle last night. The Emerging Filipino Leadership award recognizes Filipino leaders under 40 for their contributions and hard work in the community. About 75 attendees were on hand to witness many other awards given in the fields of Non-Profit (which Aileen and Virgil received their awards for), Cultural/Performing Arts, Education, Law, and Advocacy/Community Organizing.
