The White Center Community Development Association is excited to announce that our Annual Community Summit will be on Saturday, March 1st, 2014. This year the focus of the summit is White Center Past, Present and Future. Each workshop, presentation and speaker will focus on this with the goal of sharing stories about White Center and making new ones for the future. Join hundreds of your neighbors, community organizations and White Center supporters on this important day to address neighborhood needs/issues, take advantage of resources for your family and to gain some history about our beloved White Center community. By attending the event you will receive a White Center t-shirt, lunch and the opportunity to have a family photo taken professionally. This event is free and open to the public. You’ve done an outstanding job getting In Motion! Don’t give up now, there’s just one week to go! This week is your last chance to earn free ride tickets and raffle entries.

Two raffle drawings to go…
Log your trips by Wednesday, 10/12 at noon to be eligible for this week’s raffle. Three lucky winners will receive one of the following:
- A family pack of Woodland Park Zoo passes (for 2 adults and 2 children)
- $30 worth of free groceries from Safeway
- Fresh, local produce delivered to your home

Grand Prize Raffle!
Log trips during the final week of the program to be eligible for our final prize drawings:
- Fresh, organic produce from Helsing Junction Farm delivered to your door
- $30 good at Safeway, plus a nifty travel blanket to get you ready for a fall harvest picnic!
- A White Center prize package, including two White Center t-shirts, gift certificates to local businesses, and more!

Log two or more trips for the week of 10/9 - 10/15, and make sure we have your trip log by 10/22. It could be you!

Plus, by logging trips during the final week, you’ll help elevate White Center In Motion’s already outstanding impact on the community and the environment! In 15 weeks, 575 White Center neighbors have switched more than 5,500 trips from driving alone to a healthier option, saving 82,000 drive alone miles, 4,000 gallons of gas, and 80,000 pounds of harmful, polluting carbon emissions! Keep it up - let’s reach 6,000 trips!
